Our Team
Keelan Jones
Principal and Founder
Keelan moved to the Asheville area in 2012 and started Spark Lab in 2014 while being guided by an entrepreneurial spirit and a passion for creativity. With a background in design and possessing a strong technical skill set, Spark Lab was a natural evolution of skills gained throughout his career. Keelan's strong foundation in design fuels a creative approach to the multi-disciplinary needs of a web agency, including UI/UX design, branding, coding, and business strategy.
When he's not busy working on client projects, he's often geeking out over fonts and typography, website frameworks, or learning about the newest CSS features being introduced.

Teddy Sasot
Senior Web Designer
Teddy started his career as a graphic designer and transitioned to web design and development. He now has over 10 years of experience building websites and creating digital experiences, and has been with Spark Lab since its inception. Teddy takes pride in his tenacity for fixing issues and solving problems. He's a true believer in a design's ability to subconsciously and consciously affect the user, down to the last pixel or minute spacing adjustment.
Otto
Human wannabe
The Spark Lab mascot and unwaivered supporter. When he's not plotting his next squirrel attack, he enjoys sleeping, belly rubs and long walks in the Western North Carolina mountains. He's famous for his inquisitive looks and the ability to eat an entire pot roast in 10 seconds while no one is looking.
